As a Parent of a Red Rose Olympic rider I will:

Recognise the value and importance of the coaches and volunteers who provide sporting/recreational opportunities for my child

Respect the referees, commissaires, coaches, organisers and other cyclists at all events and deal with any complaints via the proper channels

Recognise good performance, not just results and be supportive no matter what!

Encourage mutual respect for team mates and fellow competitors

Support all efforts to remove abusive/bullying behaviour in all its forms

Never intentionally expose any young participant to embarrassment or disparagement by the use of flippant or sarcastic remarks

Accept the officials’ judgements and teach children to do likewise

Encourage my child to take responsibility for their bike and kit

Respect the rights, dignity and worth of every young person regardless of their gender, ability, disability, cultural background or religion
