We're continuing the cyclocross skills sessions. We'll build on skills learned in earlier sessions. Either a mountain bike or cyclocross bike will be fine.

New venue: Meet at 9am in the Cottam Community Centre car park.

Meet at 9am at Moor Park, at the car park across from Deepdale Stadium. The session will take place at various locations within the park.

Now the cyclocross season is underway we're continuing the cyclocross skills sessions. We will focus on the skills required for the next NWCCA race - the Horwich Humdinger course has some short tricky descents and some steps to run up. Either a mountain bike or cyclocross bike will be fine.

North of England Cyclocross Championships 2017

The North of England Cyclocross championships are being held in South Shields this year and is restricted to British Cycling members (minimum bronze membership) resident in BC North East, Yorkshire and North West Regions.

Racing Success for Red Rose!

Red Rose Riders at the last NWCC race

NWCC September Race Series

This was a series of 4 events at UCLan Sports Arena. There were Go-Ride races for younger and novice riders and British Cycling ranking races for older riders who race regularly. There was a short race and a long race for each rider at each event. Tuesday was the final event and Red Rose Olympic had riders on the podium in all the Go-Ride race categories:

NW Youth League Round 6 Report: Cyclocross

Cyclocross at Salt Ayre, Lancaster

Salt Ayre Cog Set hosted round 6 of the North West Youth League. It was a great day with good course and great catering!

The rain held off but the course was wet and slippery from the showers the day before which made the corners and off-cambers challenging.

All the Red Rose riders performed well but Katie did particularly well coming first in the under 8 girls category - well done Katie.
