The final round of this season’s Crank It series will return to the popular venue of Gisburn Forest. 

As well as being a great course for spectating, the venue also offers an abundance of extra trails, Gisburn Forest Bike Hub & Cafe and even a Gruffalo Trail!

Round 3 of this season’s Crank It series will take place at the heart of the Lake District, amongst the forest and hills, at the Grizedale forest race course.

Following a mad dash from the start line, the racers will first face the deceptively challenging ‘rock garden’, before working their way out of the arena and onto a nice resting fire road. Following this, is a mix of fast flowing, single track, tight switch back descents and the popular ‘shipping pallet garden’!

Round 2 of this season’s Crank It series will take place on the popular Lee Quarry.

This venue will be great for spectators, as the riders will pop in and out of the start/finish arena multiple times in a lap, all making for a great race.

As with all our rounds, riders of all ability’s will be challenged with the use of different line choices, making our races as inclusive as possible.

Round 1 of this season’s Crank It series will take place in Kendal, on a course brand new to the MTB racing scene.

Be prepared for some challenging climbs, exhilarating descents, and skill-taxing sections of trail.

Riders of all abilities will find something to enjoy in this compact venue that still provides plenty of space to race.

We are holding an informal drop in session for new riders as well as riders that have been before. Come and find out about what coaching Red Rose Olympic will be putting on this season.

Our coaching sessions start in April and are aimed at riders of all abilities. They are great for riders looking to get more confident riding a bike and learn some basic skills to people looking to race or who are already racing.

9.00am to 10.30am on Saturdays at Preston Sports Arena’s closed road circuit. Aimed at riders of all ages, these sessions will provide progressive coaching sessions for new riders looking to gain confidence on a bike and learn some basic skills through to advanced riders looking to hone their skills and improve their fitness.

The coaching for less experienced riders will use the smaller loop on the track while the more advanced riders will use the larger loop of the track.
