Cog Set is looking forward to hosting another friendly yet exciting race series - welcoming back regular competitors and hopefully welcoming some new faces too.

Entry is on the day and is £4.00 for category A, B and C riders and £3.00 for category D and E riders.

Race lengths and approximate timings

6:10pm Sign on and gear checking opens

6:30pm Cat D and E race, 4 laps (3.2 miles/5.1 km)

6:45pm Cat C race, 9 laps (7.2 miles/11.6 km), with primes points at end of lap 5

9.00am to 10.30am Saturdays at Preston Sports Arena’s closed road circuit. Aimed at all Youth riders under 16. The coaching will use the smaller loop on the track to provide progressive coaching sessions to new and intermediate riders.

Older riders, those youths with more experience and adults can use the larger loop of the track as an open training activity.

£2.50 per session for Red Rose Olympic members

£3.50 per session for non-Red Rose Olympic members

The second round of the North West Youth League.

Registration will open at 9:00am and the event will start at 10:00am with a coaching session for those that haven't done Cycle Speedway before. The event consists of a series of heats followed by finals.
