The first in a series of three races at the Tameside circuit with races for boys and girls from under 8 to under 16 (youth categories A - E).

9.00am to 10.30am on Saturdays at Preston Sports Arena’s closed road circuit. Aimed at riders of all ages, these sessions will provide progressive coaching sessions for new riders looking to gain confidence on a bike and learn some basic skills through to advanced riders looking to hone their skills and improve their fitness.

The coaching for less experienced riders will use the smaller loop on the track while the more advanced riders will use the larger loop of the track.

This is event two of a three event series. The first event is on 17th March and the third event is on 14th April

Boy and Girl youth races from under 8 to under 16 (Youth categories A-E). There are two races for each age group at each event of the series.

The North West team of British Cycling have organised some youth workshops to support riders and clubs in the lead up to racing in the 2018 season. These workshops have been produced in conjunction with the GB cycling team, and will be presented by British Cycling Go-Ride coaches, Tom Leivers and Lydia Walker.

Who is it for – Youth A and B Riders (Born in years 2002 - 2005)

What should riders bring – Note pad and pen, rollers and turbo and road bike.

Novice, Intermediate and Advanced groups at the velodrome.
