North West Cycle Coaching Race Week 3

A series of races to finish the season of sessions held at UCLan Sports Arena. Open to new riders as well as those who have attended NWCC sessions.

There will be 2 sets of races:

1) Go-Ride racing for all youth riders - these races are intended for older youth riders who are new to racing, as well as all C, D and E category riders.

2) Races with BC points for more experienced A and B category riders only.

Now the cyclocross season is underway we're continuing the cyclocross skills sessions. We will focus on the skills required for the next NWCCA race - the Weaver Valley course has some sharp turns on off-camber sections. For this week either a mountain bike or cyclocross bike will be fine.

After the summer of road cycling skill sessions on the track we are moving to off-road mountain bike and cyclocross skills sessions. We'll be focusing on cyclocross and we'll be learning some important basic skills ready for the upcoming Red Rose Olympic Cyclocross race at Hoghton Tower. For this week either a mountain bike or cyclocross bike will be fine.
